European Poetry Festival at Writers’ Centre Kingston : 2020 : 7pm - Free

A night of performance and reading as European Poetry Festival opens in 2020. World renowned poets, visiting from across Europe, present alongside European poets local to the Kingston area, as well as staff and students of Kingston University. An amazing opportunity to see a dozen exciting contemporary poets from all over Europe.

The event will see the launch of the new Sampson Low EPF publications, with new works made by Max Höfler, Robert Prosser and Franziska Füchsl. Supported by Austrian Cultural Forum.

Also performing will be Bjørn Vatne, Katerina Koulouri, Agnieszka Studzinska, Maria Celina Val, Maria Omena and Silje Ree alongside launches of the Sampson Low student publications series with Laurensia Puia and Jamie Toy.

Rounding off the evening, the prize giving ceremony for The Creative and Professional Writing Prize Event will be hosted by Sara Upstone and presented by Courttia Newland.

This reading will showcase the energy and innovation so defining of 21st European poetry - an amazing opportunity to see some of the most exciting contemporary poets from all over Europe.
